ABOUT US
Awesome Awnings is a family owned business based in the Sutherland Shire in Sydney. It was started in 2003 by Grant & Sue Foley. Under Grant’s management the business quickly developed an outstanding reputation, particularly in the southern & eastern suburbs of Sydney. This reputation was built on delivering quality products at affordable prices with reliable after sales service.
In 2011 the business was sold to a larger company. While still remaining in the industry, Grant pursued other interests until 2017 when he decided to take Awesome Awnings back ‘under his wing’.
With the original owners back running the business, Awesome Awnings was again able to offer quality products and services to the Sydney Region.
Why Choose Us
1. Insurance
Ensure that your supplier has Public Liability Insurance. If the tradesperson or a product injures a person or badly damages property it may be difficult to obtain compensation if they do not have the appropriate insurance. Awesome Awnings carries a $10 million Public & Products Liability Insurance
2. Warranty
In this industry, most ‘Manufacturer Warranties’ cover only the repair or replacement of the product at their location. The cost to take it to them and reinstall at your premises is not covered. Returning a folding arm awning to the manufacturer could cost you hundreds of dollars in labour and transport.
Awesome Awnings provides a limited PARTS and LABOUR warranty on all products. Remember to check with any other companies who provide you with a quote as to whether they cover ALL labour costs. Refer to our Terms & Conditions provided with your quote for full details.
3. After Sales Service
Awesome Awnings has developed an enviable reputation within this industry by ensuring that customers are not forgotten after a sale has been completed. Whether you require a battery change in a remote or a little tweaking of an awning’s angle, you can rest assured that we will readily respond.
4. Australian Family Owned
We are not a franchise nor are we owned by overseas investors. Awesome Awnings is a family run business. We are a wholly Australian owned and operated Company.

The quality of products & service that we provide is extremely important to us. Our reputation is critical as the majority of our business comes from referrals. In 2017 we introduced customer surveys as a way to gauge whether we were meeting expectations. The questions asked for a rating from 1 to 10 with 1 being unacceptable and 10 being excellent.
